Elevate Your Brand: The Power of Professional Social Media Marketing Services

In the digital age, harnessing the potential of social media is essential for businesses

seeking to thrive in the online landscape. A strategic and impactful social media

presence can elevate your brand, foster engagement, and drive business growth. In this

blog, we'll explore three compelling reasons why partnering with a professional social

media marketing company is a game-changing investment for your brand.

Strategic Content Creation and Branding Messaging

Crafting a compelling brand narrative and delivering it effectively on social media

requires a strategic approach. A professional social media marketing company brings

expertise in content creation, ensuring that your brand message resonates with your

target audience. From eye-catching visuals to engaging copy, they curate content that

not only captivates but also aligns with your brand identity. This strategic content

creation builds brand recognition and establishes a consistent and impactful online

presence, setting your brand apart in a crowded digital landscape.

Audience Engagement and Community Building

Building a thriving community around your brand is a cornerstone of successful social

media marketing. Professional social media marketers excel in fostering audience

engagement through strategic interactions, responding to comments, and initiating

conversations. They understand the nuances of each social media platform, tailoring

engagement strategies to maximize reach and impact. By cultivating a genuine online

community, they turn followers into brand advocates, amplifying your brand’s influence

and creating lasting connections with your audience.

Data-Driven Campaigns and Performance Analysis

The success of any social media strategy lies in data-driven decision-making. A

reputable social media marketing company employs analytics tools to track the

performance of your campaigns meticulously. From measuring engagement metrics to

analyzing conversion rates, they gather valuable insights that inform ongoing strategies.

This data-driven approach allows for continuous refinement and optimization of social

media efforts, ensuring that your brand stays adaptive, relevant, and attuned to the

ever-evolving dynamics of the digital landscape.

In the fast-paced world of social media, having a professional ally can make all the

difference in the success of your brand. From strategic content creation to fostering

community engagement and leveraging data-driven insights, a social media marketing

company brings a wealth of expertise to the table. Elevate your brand, expand your

reach, and drive meaningful connections with your audience by investing in the services

of a seasoned social media marketing partner. The power of a professionally managed

social media presence is the key to unlocking new heights for your brand in the digital

realm. When you’re ready to partner with professionals, call on Newton Peach

Unlocking Business Success: 3 Compelling Reasons Every Business Should Utilize Facebook

In the digital age, establishing a robust online presence is crucial for the success of any business. Among the myriad of social media platforms, Facebook stands out as a powerhouse for connecting businesses with their target audience. Here are three compelling reasons why every business should harness the power of Facebook:

Unrivaled Global Reach

Facebook boasts an immense user base, with billions of active users worldwide. This presents an unparalleled opportunity for businesses to tap into a vast and diverse audience. By creating a Facebook business page, companies can transcend geographical boundaries and connect with potential customers on a global scale. The platform's user-friendly interface allows businesses to share engaging content, promote products or services, and interact directly with their audience. This expansive reach is especially beneficial for small businesses seeking to expand their customer base without a hefty marketing budget.

Precision Targeting with Ads

One of Facebook's most powerful features for businesses is its advertising platform. Through targeted ads, businesses can pinpoint specific demographics, interests, and behaviors, ensuring their messages reach the most relevant audience. This level of precision targeting enables businesses to optimize their marketing efforts, reaching potential customers who are more likely to engage with their products or services. Whether it's age, location, interests, or online behavior, Facebook's ad platform allows businesses to tailor their campaigns with unprecedented accuracy, maximizing the return on investment for advertising budgets.

Building Brand Loyalty and Engagement

Facebook is not just a platform for broadcasting information; it's a space for fostering relationships and building brand loyalty. Businesses can engage with their audience through regular posts, comments, and direct messages. This direct interaction helps humanize the brand and creates a sense of community around it. Consistent and meaningful engagement builds trust, and trust is a fundamental factor in driving customer loyalty. Additionally, Facebook provides valuable insights into user behavior and preferences through analytics tools, allowing businesses to adapt and refine their strategies based on real-time data.

The benefits of using Facebook for business are vast and multifaceted. The platform offers an unparalleled global reach, precise advertising capabilities, and the opportunity to build lasting connections with customers. By leveraging these advantages, businesses can enhance their online presence, increase brand awareness, and ultimately drive success in an increasingly competitive digital landscape. Whether you're a small startup or an established enterprise, Facebook is a powerful tool that should not be overlooked in your marketing strategy. When you're ready to partner with a local marketing company that has over a decade of experience of creating ads and strategies for you Facebook business page, contact Newton Peach Marketing.

3 Reasons to Invest in Social Media Marketing for Your Small Business in Florida

Owning your own business means it's important to understand the "why" of things just as much as "how" to do them. When it comes to investing in your brand, things like signage, printed materials, or photography are straightforward. Social media though has sometimes been looked at as "frivolous" or unnecessary among business owners. Contrary to this mistaken belief, social media is actually a huge asset to modern business owners, and if done right, can pay for itself and then some. Our marketing agency specializes in social media content and management for businesses of all sizes in Polk County and we see the benefits firsthand.

According to Newton Peach, the top 3 reasons you should consider investing in social media for your business are:

Increased Brand Awareness

Social media platforms provide an extensive reach within your area. This allows businesses to connect with a diverse audience and increase brand visibility to potential customers and clients. By consistently engaging and sharing relevant content, businesses can create awareness and exposure for their products or services. With a single click, a post on Facebook or Instagram can reach hundreds of people within a day. What other marketing tool will give you those kinds of results?

Targeted Advertising

Social media platforms offer advanced targeting options for content. This enables you to reach individuals grouped by specific demographics, interests, behaviors, and locations with your brand. By targeting your approach (as opposed to blanket advertisement) you enhance the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, reaching the right audience and maximizing your return on investment (ROI). In the marketing world, social media is how you get the "most bang for your buck" when promoting your service or product.

Customer Engagement and Relationship Building

Social media facilitates direct communication between businesses and their customers. By actively engaging with followers, responding to comments, and addressing questions or concerns, your business (and you as an owner) can build stronger relationships, foster loyalty, and establish a positive brand image in your community. By personalizing your business to those in your area, you build a level of trust that can lead to word-of-mouth promotion (aka FREE advertisement), increased sales, and a stronger presence within your community.

Newton Peach Marketing is proud to serve Winter Haven businesses with social media services tailored specifically to their needs and their audience. We would love to help you grow! By identifying your ideal audience, and connecting with your community on your behalf, we help you promote and build your brand to increase profits long-term. Let's talk about options for your business! Schedule a consultation and learn how Newton Peach Marketing can help you grow!

St. Patrick's Day: The Backstory

St. Patrick's Day, or The Feast of St. Patrick, is a well-known holiday, known for fun (and sometimes crazy) parties all over the United States. Shamrocks are abundant and you'll be seeing in the color green just about everywhere you go on March 17th. However, many people celebrate the holiday without ever knowing WHY they are celebrating or WHAT the traditions mean. We're here to put those questions to rest.

What is St. Patrick's Day, Besides a Party?

St. Patricks' Day is when people, specifically those of Irish descent, recognize and remember St. Patrick, a historical figure of religious significance in Ireland. The day was traditionally celebrated as a feast day by those of the Catholic, Anglican, Orthodox and Lutheran churches.

Who Was Saint Patrick?

It is thought that St. Patrick was born a Roman Britain to a wealthy family in the fourth century. He was kidnapped by Irish raiders at age 16 and sold as a slave. He served as a shepherd in Gaelic Ireland for 6 years, and during that time, it is historically said that he "found God". According to the story, God told him to flee to the coast where a ship would be waiting to take him home. Once he made his way home, Patrick became a priest, and later returned to Ireland to convert the pagan society to Christianity. During his ministry, he converted thousands, and tradition holds that he passed away on March 17th.

Why All the Shamrocks?

According to the historical tales, St. Patrick used clover, a three-leaf plant, to explain the concept of the Holy Trinity to the pagan Irish.

Saints and Parties?

Traditionally, the Feast of St. Patrick was the one day that the restrictions of Lent were lifted, and people could indulge in the things they had given up, including alcoholic beverages. It was a time to honor and celebrate the patron saint Patrick and remember what he did for the Irish people. Today, St. Patricks Day is used as a huge marketing holiday for many food and beverage (specifically beer) companies since the day is celebrated with large parties  around the world. They take advantage of the concept of "abundance" and extravagance that has come to be associated with St. Patricks' day.

So, this St. Patrick's Day, go green on March 17th knowing exactly why you're wearing those sparkly shamrock glasses and enjoying a fun party with your friends. Are you feeling like you’re out of luck when it comes to advertising your business or building your brand online? It’s time to call Newton Peach Marketing! We are Polk County’s top choice for online and small business marketing. We personalize the process of building your brand, and tailor a plan to you, your budget, and your business. Call us!

LOVE Your Community This Valentine's Day!

February is the "month of love" and Valentine's Day is coming up fast! Everyone is focused on shopping for their sweetheart, parents are coming up with fun Valentine ideas for their kids, and teachers are decking out their classrooms with hearts and fun projects to celebrate the season. In all these festivities, what if you could also show your community some love?? Your local businesses feed into your community each day, providing products, services, and experiences that set apart your town and make it special. Winter Haven, Lakeland, Bartow, Lake Wales, Auburndale, and the surrounding areas are home to some of the best shopping and dining options in Central Florida, but these hidden gems can often go unnoticed. Unless, that is, people like YOU choose to make them part of your celebrations.

This Valentine's Day, show your community businesses some love by...

Shopping Local.

This one is easy! From cakes, cookies, and chocolates, to the perfect piece of jewelry for your sweetheart, local stores have the most unique gifts, and often depend on other nearby crafters and producers for their inventory. No big box brands here! Your gifts will be special, because they show you cared enough to take time to shop in person, and will have even more meaning because they're a piece of home!

Making them part of your big day.

It's easy to take advantage of chain restaurants and their big Valentine advertisements for cheaper "dinners for two" on Valentine's day. What if we told you though, that local restaurants often have deals just as good, and with GREAT food! There are so many great restaurants to suit every taste and style here in Polk County. Make it a family affair or a romantic night out!

Sharing the love!

This is one time we encourage you to talk about what you're buying, where you're taking your Valentine, and just how amazing your holiday was! While we're not encouraging you to brag, we are encouraging you to share your experiences with these local businesses. This is free advertisement for them, and helps them get exposure and clout in our cities and towns. Leave them a review, talk about their products or services, tag them on social media. Get their name out there and show them some love!

We hope your Valentine's Day is amazing, and we look forward to seeing all the ways you show our local businesses some love, not just during February but throughout the year ahead. Newton Peach Marketing is proud to be a Winter Haven business, and it’s a privilege to work with so many other small businesses in our area. Helping you build your brand, grow your business, and thrive through professional connections with others is our top priority.

Happy Valentine’s Day from Newton Peach Marketing!

Santa Brought The Sniffles...Now What?

Did Santa bring more than presents to your home this season? If a cold or flu made its way down the chimney (or through your front door), your holiday might have been a little less than ideal. Instead of sipping hot cocoa and enjoying your Christmas gifts, once your  family and friends went home you were left with coughing, aches, and not enough tissues. Sanitizing after Santa (or your sniffling out of town guests) is important as it will not only protect your remaining family from whatever germs came into your house, but it will also kick the germs to the curb faster and help you get well. So where should you focus on cleaning, and how should you do it?

Bedrooms. Did your holiday guests come into town with a touch of a cold that quickly turned into a full-blown flu before they left? Have your kids been coughing since Christmas Eve? Taking time to sanitize the bedrooms in your house is important in keeping your home healthy! Wash all bed linens on hot wash if possible, and spray down mattresses, mattress toppers, drapes, and other fabric surfaces that can't be washed with a disinfectant of your choice. Wipe down hard surfaces like bedside tables, headboards, tv remotes, curtain and blind cords/rods, light switches, doorknobs, etc. Pretty much any surface that could have been touched should be sanitized. Finally, open windows for a while if you can to air out the room, and vacuum the space with a HEPA filter to take care of any remaining particles.

Bathrooms. Much like the bedroom, all hard surfaces should be cleaned with sanitizing wipes or cleaners, and don't forget inside the shower or tub! In addition, steam mopping or mopping the floor with an antibacterial cleaner is a good way to take care of any residual viruses hanging around and give you a fresh start to work with.

Extras! Do you keep throws and blankets on chairs and sofas around your home? Wash those for sure! Television remotes are a major hot spot for germs, so cleaning them thoroughly is key when sanitizing after a bout of sickness has hit your household. Other commonly used items that should be thoroughly cleaned include:

  • cell phones

  • the handle on the refrigerator and/or freezer!

  • toothbrushes

  • makeup brushes and hairbrushescar

  • keys

Don't forget handy shortcuts that make the cleaning process easier! Most dishwashers for example are equipped with a sanitizing function. Running dishes, or even certain toys, on this function can disinfect them quickly without the need for chemicals!

We hope you enjoy a happy (and healthy) year ahead, and experience growth and success in your business endeavors! If you need help kickstarting growth, connecting with potential clients, or building your brand within the community, Newton Peach Marketing in the answer. We provide social media management and content creation for businesses of all kinds. Call us to schedule a FREE initial consultation and quote!

Kids in the Kitchen: Holiday Baking is Healthy for Your Family!

The holidays are here, and chances are, you've seen the stores putting out all the baking needs. Festive sprinkles, colored frostings, chocolate chips, and candies galore adorn the entryway displays, and people are stocking up for Christmas baking.

We have a question for you though; How often, when pulling out those ingredients each year, have you heard the words "Can I help?" asked excitedly by your children? It's no secret that the kitchen tends to draw little ones (and even older ones!) in, but it's also well-known that baking with kids can be messy and take a good deal longer than it would if you were just left to your own devices. After all...isn't it quieter and cleaner to work on your own while the kids watch a favorite Christmas movie?

Maybe. Well...probably.

However, this year, we encourage you to bring your kids into the kitchen! Why? Well, here are some reasons experts say baking together can be beneficial for you and your kids this holiday season (even if the ingredients aren't necessarily on the healthy side)...

Family Bonding. Cooking and baking together gives you a common goal to work toward, and then everyone can enjoy taking pride in the results! Instead of everyone being engrossed in phones, tablets, video games, or the television, you're all engaged together. Some great conversations can take place around the kitchen island!

Hands-On Learning. Cooking offers practical application of math skills through measuring, weighing, following directions (recipe reading) and even reading temperatures! It's a great way for young students to continue what they've learned in the classroom over holiday breaks. For older kids, it helps give hands-on practice with life skills. You won't always be there with them to make the Christmas cookies or Grandma's famous cake!

Passing down traditions. Speaking of Grandma's famous cake, many families have recipes that have been made during certain holidays for generations. Letting your children participate in creating these recipes, and allowing them to see slips of paper in loved ones' handwriting or recipes clipped from old magazines, , you are passing down a love of, and appreciation for, family history without even realizing it. Tradition is often passed through the family line on a plate!

Time to talk. How often are your children attempting to talk to you, or you to them, with a phone, work project, or household task taking part of your attention? Being in the kitchen offers an opportunity to shut out the world around you and just focus on spending time around the mixing bowl with your family.

Share the gift of giving! Baked goods are a great way to show someone you care! Teach your children about the joy that can come from working hard to make something for someone else. It's a wonderful way to incorporate a lesson in what Christmas is supposed to be about.

We hope this year you'll consider making family time in the kitchen a new tradition of your own if it isn't already. Don't consider yourself a "chef extraordinaire"? Don't worry! Your kids won't care if it's a from-scratch recipe, or a box of cookie mix and some pre-made frosting. The memories made together go FAR beyond the results that come out of the oven. While you’re busy making memories with the ones you love, we’ll be busy continuing to grow your business behind the scenes. Social media never sleeps, and making sure you are represented well online is a 24-hour job. Let us take the work of branding yourself off your plate! Call Newton Peach Marketing and let us help your business reach its full potential in 2023!

Florida Flair on Your Thanksgiving Table: Top 3 Thanksgiving Menu Tips

Thanksgiving will be here before we know it! While our temperatures certainly don't reflect the holiday season just yet, a trip to any local shopping center will let you know that visions of turkeys and family gatherings are at the forefront of everyone's minds. Here in Central Florida though, we have the freedom to celebrate Turkey Day in some unique (and fun) ways! We have some great ideas to help you add some Floridian flair to your Thanksgiving table this year, and give your guests a taste of the Sunshine State.

As you plan your menu, why not try:

A Twist on The Classic Pie

A twist of lime that is! Instead of traditional pumpkin or apple, wow your family and friends with a homemade key lime pie this Thanksgiving! Delicious, cool, and creamy, with just enough tartness to keep things interesting, it is THE classic dessert of Florida. Add some homemade whipped cream on the side (or piled high on top) and it's sure to be a hit!

A Tropical Tan for Your Turkey

A mojo marinade or sweet and spicy orange glaze is never disappointing, especially when it comes out adorning a big, golden turkey fresh from the oven (or the smoker) and placed in the center of the table. Orange, lime, lemon, and other "tropical" flavors reflect all the best of Florida, but blend beautifully with turkey, no matter how you choose to cook it. Recipes for this are nearly endless online. Look up one that calls to you and try something fresh this year!

Keep Your Table Fresh

Fall and Winter are when gardens are dying down across much of the US, but here in Florida, our growing season is still going strong. Many local markets will still have fresh produce of all kinds, so plan your holiday menu around these items! Instead of the typical green bean casserole, why not try sweet and savory roasted brussels sprouts alongside your turkey and mashed potatoes? Add some crunch with a bright salad, or try a fruit salsa to replace canned cranberry sauce. There are SO many ways to bring the freshness of Florida to your Thanksgiving table.

We are ready to make our beautiful home state part of our celebrations this year. How about you? We hope this holiday season is full of all the best for you and the ones you love. While you’re enjoying time to celebrate with family and friends, Newton Peach Marketing will still be working behind the scenes to make sure your online presence is felt and your business never stops growing. Feeling run down because you’re still trying to do it all yourself? Take a break this holiday season and hand your social media over to our team! We provide customized content for all of your social media platforms, so you’re still being seen and heard by potential customers and clients.

Happy Thanksgiving from NPM!

A SPOOKtacular Halloween by the Pool: Celebrating Halloween Looks a Little Different in Florida!

Holidays in Florida always seem to look a little different. Christmas? Sometimes we wear flip-flops and grill out. Thanksgiving? Seafood is a great alternative to turkey! We're used to doing things our own way here. Halloween is around the corner, and it's time to start thinking about how you'll be celebrating. We might not have Fall leaves or chilly air, but we DO have plenty of swimming pools! Did you know, there are lots of ways to make your pool area the hottest party spot in the neighborhood for a scary bash? The best part? You don't have to try very hard or spend much cash to make your pool "spook-tacular".

Here are our favorite ways to bring your pool into the festivities...

Floating Decor

There are SO many possibilities when it comes to items you can float in your pool for decorative purposes. If you want to go all out, carve pumpkins, and float them in your pool after dark with tea-lights flickering inside. Floating jack-o-lanterns take things to a whole new level! If you want something a little easier (and cheaper), opt for the plastic pumpkin buckets available at most stores around the Halloween holiday. Go with all orange for a traditional look, or mix it up and pick an array of colors.

For a spooky glowing effect, blow up balloons with glow sticks inside. Float them in your pool as "glowing orbs". Give it an extra dose of creepy and put glow sticks inside of inflated rubber gloves for glowing hands to disperse in your pool.

Send The Skeletons Floating!
Plastic skeletons are a classic Halloween decoration, but did you know you can kick up the scary fun (and possibly laughs) by taking your skeleton poolside? Pose plastic skeletons in patio lounge chairs with sunglasses, sun hats, drinks, etc. You can even prop one in or on a pool float and send it sailing in your pool. Guests will get a kick out of the newest "swimmer" at the party. The best part? These guests won't eat all the snacks!

Go Big

If you're willing to go farther (and deal with a little more pool cleanup) you can opt for these fun ideas to really impress your guests!

Pool dye won't stain at all, but with one dose you can have a pool full of red "blood", or green "swamp water". After 3 or 4 days, the dye gets filtered out of the system and you're once again left with sparkling blue water ready for swimming.

Fog machines or dry ice are another creepy pool effect that can really amp up the spooky vibe of your party. Place around the exterior edge of your pool and crank up the Halloween tunes, and you'll officially have the best party on your street.

Newton Peach Marketing LOVES the Florida life, and appreciate all the things the make it unique. That includes our local businesses! Are you a small business owner in the Central Florida area? We are so glad to have you as part of our area. Supporting local is a big deal, and our business is built on making sure brands just like yours get the exposure they need to grow and thrive. Are you overwhelmed with managing social media accounts, answering comments, reading reviews, and making sure you’re represented well across the internet? Let us take the load off your shoulders and let you focus on what’s important: keeping your business running well.

Happy Halloween from NPM!

Tips and Tricks to Handle Burnout This Summer

Summer is here! That means summer activities and talk of vacations are here as well. During this time of year, it is common for many to experience burnout and lack of focus. At Newton Peach Marketing, we know how important it is to stay on top of your business duties while maintaining your mental health. That is why we want to share with you some tips on how to beat burnout this summer.

1.) Make sure you are taking enough breaks

One great way to avoid job burnout is to ensure you are taking enough breaks throughout your workday. Fellow workaholics can agree that it is easy to get lost in a task in the workday and forget to take breaks, but breaks are important because it gives your body and mind time to refresh and focus on something that is not work-related. Setting aside daily breaks will help relieve workplace stress as well.

2.) Set aside time for exercise

If you feel yourself experiencing burnout setting aside time in your daily routine for exercise, even just a 15-minute walk, will work wonders. Research shows exercise provides recovery for your cognitive processes and nervous system so it can function more effectively. Giving yourself a set time for exercise each day will give you a chance to reflect on your day and unwind while also making you feel accomplished for doing something good for your body and health.

3.) Prioritize healthy diets to support a healthy mood and energy level.

Believe it or not, what we are putting into our bodies daily has a big effect on our moods and energy levels. Try minimizing the number of refined sugars and processed foods you are eating daily as they disrupt your body's hormone balance and lead to a mid-day crash in energy and mood. Try replacing these refined sugars and processed food with whole food with lots of vitamins and nutritional value that will keep your body fueled through the workday.

We hope you enjoyed reading about these tips to beat job burnout this summer. At Newton Peach Marketing we know it can sometimes be harder to focus on work during the summer season, however, these tips will fuel your body and mind keeping you focused on what needs to be done in the workplace. If you find yourself spread too thin running your business contact our team at Newton Peach Marketing and we would love to help you out by tackling all your digital marketing needs!

Mom-Approved Ideas for Celebrating Mother's Day

  • Mother's Day is just a few days away! Are you ready? While flowers, gifts, and breakfast in bed, what if there was a way to celebrate Mom all year long? Newton Peach Marketing supports mothers and truly believes they are superheros for what they take on each day. Making mom feel special for a day is fun for celebrating, but finding ways to surprise her with helping hands and items taken off her to-do list is the ultimate love letter. After all, have you ever seen how LONG it is?? We have some tips to get you started, but be sure to brainstorm ideas for your own wife, mom, grandmother, or other important lady in your life. She's sure to appreciate it!

Some simple ways to support Mom and show her how much you love her every day include:

  • Take over dish duty. If mom usually ends up in front of the sink or dishwasher each night, make sure you're there before she is! Taking this simple chore off her list gives her a few extra minutes in her evening. Maybe she'll finally have time to pick up that book she's been putting off, or enjoying 5 more minutes of quiet on the back patio before dark.

  • Clean her car. A clean care takes time and energy, and those are two things Mom usually doesn't have at the end of the day. Give her car a glow up, with an interior detail, and a good wash and wax. You can pay a professional and surprise her, or grab your rags, the hose, and the vacuum and do it yourself.

  • Plan a meal (or more) each week. Taking just one night off Mom's plate each week is a great way to show your love. Planning, shopping for, and preparing dinner on a busy weeknight can relieve stress, or give her a relaxing weekend and take over dinner on Saturday or Sunday night. She's sure to appreciate a tasty meal that she didn't have to make.

We hope this helps you get a head start on your own list for Mom this coming year. While you're busy taking care of mom's to-do list, we're busy taking care of YOURS as a business owner. Newton Peach Marketing handles all of your online marketing needs, with a special focus on social media and content creation. We make sure your potential clients and customers see all the best parts of your business and your brand, and you see the increase in profits because of that exposure. Let us help you grow your business, build your brand, and find bigger success in the year ahead!

Happy Mother's Day to moms everywhere!

Find a local business network near you that has a high-energy environment, and you’ll be guaranteed to pick up on the contagious energy. Most networking groups meet once a week, and this is a great opportunity to meet new business partners or get referrals. Socializing with business owners like yourself is a great way to revive the love and energy you once had for your business!

  • Plan ahead for the future: Not only do you need to work for your business, you need plan ahead! It may seem banal and uninspiring, but planning ahead can give you a vision for the future, and motivation to improve the current state your business is in. Planning ahead allows you to see the bigger picture, a create a map to guide you to the place you want your business to be. Each week, set some time to fully focus on the future of your business, and the steps you can take to get there.

  • Work smarter, not harder: Taking time to drudge through the parts of the business that aren’t fun can dreary and dull. Whenever you do the paperwork, the taxes, the referrals, and and more, make sure to work productively and to not waste time. Examine the way you manage your work, employees, meetings, services and see if you are productively scheduling to make the most of your time. Research the new technology inventions or brainstorm new work tactics to make better workflow and improve your business.

  • Remember why you started: When the future of your business does not look bright, remember why you opened it in the first place. What sparked the passion behind it? What motivated you to open it? Even if your dreams with your business do not look achievable, put in the effort to remember the positive moments that you’ve had. A way to do this is make a list of things you're grateful for that your business has brought you. Whether its meeting new people, gaining new clients, or going to new places, your business has always brought you something valuable. Don’t lose hope in your business. Even if the honeymoon phase is over, put in effort and patience to keep your love alive.

Here at Newton Peach Marketing, we want to help you love your business more than ever before! With having us manage your website, google listings, and social media accounts, your love for your business will grow when you see the major improvements we can do. Hit the Ground Running: Benefits of Running for Exercise

A New Year means new goals. What is yours?

Almost 50% of people who make new years resolution create a goal for exercising more, but few actually follow through with it. Many times, roadblocks like lack of money, no transportation, or no time are listed as reasons for falling off the exercise bandwagon. However, there is one type of exercise that costs very little, and you can do anywhere.

Are you ready to RUN??

Though running gets a reputation for being no fun, it is actually one of the most beneficial forms of exercise you can do. Not only is running an amazing aerobic exercise for your heart, it also produces serotonin (a hormone that increase the body’s feelings of wellbeing and happiness). Below are some benefits from running that may change your mind about the exercise:

Running adds years to your life

Many studies have shown that running increases your lifespan. How? After a period of time running, the human body shows an increase in cardiovascular fitness, lower cholesterol, less body fat, stronger bones, better hormone regulation, and all of these (and more) are key to good health and therefore, a likely increase in your lifespan.

Increase in sleep

Sleep is important for every human’s functional wellbeing. Whether you’re an athlete, a mom, or a businessman, everyone requires sleep. Because of the intensity of running, your body is going to be tired and will crave the rest and recovery your needs. An article in the American Journal of Lifestyle Exercise touted a connection between exercise and sleep; the worse your sleep habits, the less likely you are going to exercise, and vice versa.

Weight loss

Everyone knows that cardio helps you lose weight. Running burns more fat than (almost) any other activity because you are using your entire body through the duration of the exercise. On average, running burns 100 calories per mile! Many people find that losing weight is not difficult, but keeping it from coming back is. The only way to keep off the weight is to commit to a long-term exercise regime, and running fulfills that need.

Reduces Alzheimers, cancer, and many other diseases

A completely unexpected health benefit of running is the stimulated release of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), which helps the growth and survival of brain neurons. This aids in protection from brain plaques linked to Alzheimers. A study done in the Journal of the American Medical Association showed a connection that high-fitness exercises had a lower risk for developing 26 kinds of cancers. Along with lowering the risk, running can also reduce the effects of cancer if someone already has it.

It’s no secret that running pushes the mind and the body, but there are SO many benefits when you commit to a routine of physical exercise. Here at Newton Peach Marketing, we also strive to push ourselves, by committing to continued growth and effort in our business. This new year, we are focused on growing personal relationships with owners to help them reach their new-year business goals. With many custom options available, we are focused on your personalized plan to help you expand your business. We want to see you and your business flourish in 2022!

Paying Forward Your Blessings: Celebrating Thankfulness This Holiday Season

As many of us prepare for the holiday season with Thanksgiving this week (and Christmas right behind!), it's a good time to reflect on the many things we're thankful for this year. Perhaps you're most thankful to be gathering with friends and family for the first time in a long time, or maybe you're thankful for a new job (or keeping your old one) after a period of uncertainty. Whatever it is you are thankful for, it's so important to take time to remember and be grateful. It's also important to recognize that there are many around us who are still dealing with sadness, uncertainty, and other difficulties that make the holiday less celebratory, and more of a reminder of what isn't going well. That's why it's so important to give back. Whether it's through a community organization, a local ministry, or on your own, here are some ways you can pay the blessings forward this Thanksgiving season:

  • Donate your time. Taking a few hours to serve at a local shelter, help pack boxed Thanksgiving dinners for families in need, or making extras of your own Thanksgiving feast to deliver to shut-in neighbors are just a few simple means of spreading some love during the days leading up to Thanksgiving day.

  • Feeding Bodies = Feeding Souls. A good, hot meal is always welcome to those who are accustomed to going without, but this is especially true on Thanksgiving. Many food pantries tend to run low on items at this time of year, but if you're willing to step up, they don't have to! Organize a food drive in your neighborhood to collect canned foods and dry goods, or provide grocery gift cards for your local shelter. This helps them increase their stock of items on the shelves, and make it possible for more families to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner of their own. You'll fill bellies and brighten spirits with your kindness!

  • Look ahead. Because Christmas follows so closely behind Thanksgiving, now is a great time to look for opportunities to serve others through holiday events and organizations. There are many programs that let you "adopt" a child or a family for the Christmas season to provide gifts and/or a holiday meal. Many homeless ministries are looking for extra hands for a variety of projects around this time of year. Fundraising for your local charities, or simply going out caroling with a group of friends is a wonderful way to spread cheer this season.

We encourage you to take time this holiday to reflect on the many ways we've been blessed this year, and look for opportunities to pay it forward to those around us.

Happy Halloween for EVERYbody: Three Ways to Make Halloween More Inclusive This Season

Halloween is just a couple of weeks away. Kids (and adults) are picking out the perfect costume and preparing for lots of fun, and PLENTY of candy. While some families will still be participating in traditional trick-or-treating in nearby neighborhoods, other families here in Polk County might not yet feel comfortable going out in droves to take part. What's more, there are children and adults in our community who have never been able to participate in a traditional way (even before the pandemic) due to limiting factors like varying physical abilities, food allergies, or difficulty going out at the traditional time on Halloween. Perhaps more than ever before, we could all use the fun and magic that comes with a holiday, and making sure everyone in our community can participate matters to us! Here are three ways you can make Halloween more inclusive this year, both for your family and for those around you:

  • Offer allergy-friendly treats. Having a separate bucket of stickers or small trinkets and toys is a great way to provide an alternative option for kids who have allergies or are too young to enjoy typical candies and sweets. Often, allergy-friendly treats are differentiated with a teal bucket, but if you don't have one, just put a label out (or tell people yourself if you're present!) so parents will know how to help their child choose best.

  • Make your setup accessible for everyone. If trick-or-treaters must make it up your driveway, over uneven pavers, up stairs, etc. to get to the treats on Halloween, it doesn't make it easy for ghosts or goblins who might be limited by walking difficulty or being wheelchair bound. If you set up a candy station at the end of your driveway or walkway, you make sure ALL spooky visitors can get to the goods, which they (and their families!) will appreciate.

  • Consider BOOing your neighbors! If you know there are families in your neighborhood who can't trick or treat in the traditional way because of health risks or work schedules, you could bring a big smile to their face by BOOing them...in the nicest way possible of course! Pack up a basket with fun Halloween treats, a spooky craft, and/or some fun activities like bubbles or sidewalk chalk, and leave it on their doorstep with a note letting them know they had a ghostly visitor to bring a little holiday fun. Anonymous or not, you can feel good knowing you spread some happiness!

Newton Peach Marketing believes in community and caring for your neighbor. That’s why we stand for small businesses and want to see them succeed! Top water-front dining places in Winter Haven, Florida

unsplash-image-1z_2BgqmIFU.jpg

Summer in Florida is officially here! Get ready for the hot days, beaches, salty air, and occasional rain showers. A summer spent in Florida is considered “paradise”, as the outside weather is always above par, and you can walk in the mornings, tan in the afternoon, and view the beautiful sunsets in the evenings. In Winter Haven, summer also means the busiest time for boats on the Chain of Lakes. From tubing, longboarding, water-skiing, and more fun water-filled activities, everyone seems to be having a blast soaking up the rays and enjoying the sun. All that fun requires a big appetite to fulfill, which is exactly what water-front dining places in Winter Haven offer! Below are the best boat-friendly water-front dining places in Polk County to stop by with your family after a fun filled day on the lake!:

  • Harborside: It is hard to beat the views, food, and service Harborside offers to their customers. Known for their fresh seafood dishes, both offered during lunch and dinner, Harborside serves up a classy and yet family-friendly experience to all. Dining is offered on the main level, outside, and low level (which is part outside as well). Whether you want to take your family for a nice experience, or pull up on the boat and get some food, Harborside offers it all. The Sunset Room (infamous for its name) is the fully private room that directly faces the water with flat-screen TV capabilities, as well as special service and dining options. Harborside also has a lower bar, which you can walk to right off the boat, and the main bar, which includes several TV’s. Did we mention the pier? Right where you park your boat, you can get out and take family pictures against the beautiful Winter Haven sunset!

  • Tanner’s Lakeside Restaurant and Bar: With beautiful food and amazing shrimp, it’s hard to beat Tanner’s at pretty much anything. Located directly on Lake Howard, Tanner’s faces the business of the Chain and the well-known sunsets on a day-to-day basis. Tanner’s is known ot having the most amazing shrimp-and-grits in Polk County, and also brags about having the most entertaining live bands in Central Florida. If you definitely want to have fun, sit at their bar! You’ll meet cool Haveners and make some friends. You can follow them on facebook @TannersLakeside where they post weekly about upcoming speakers and live bands. They are very friendly to dogs (as long as you keep them on a leash) and have both indoor and outdoor seating. Expect to see some gators while you’re there! Because of their popularity, they are going to start a good truck! Keep you eyes pealed open for “The Tiki”.

  • The Twisted Prop is on par for being as family friendly as Harborside. The Twisted Prop offers both inside and outside dining, so if you and your family want a more “classy” environment, go for the inside, where there is spacious room and nice TV’s. Coming right off the boat, hang outside under the nice, cool umbrellas and family seating. Right off of Lake May, they are known for their delicious wings, jalapeno mac and cheese, and other well-cooked American foods! Their service is some of the best in Winter Haven, and it is not unusual to see the owner come around and ask how your meal is going. At their bar they also have live music going on, so stop on in, grab a beer, and let loose a little!

Newton Peach is proud to have partnered with several of these restaurants to expand their business and making them more noticed on the Chain. Newton Peach Marketing works closely with the target audience of these restaurants and businesses in order to grow their reach they have on local customers. Newton Peach Marketing is focused on growing personal relationships with these owners to help them reach their goals and maximize their profit. With custom options available, we are focused on your own personalized plan to help you expand your business. Hope to see you out on the water soon!

Fun in Florida: Tips for Enjoying Your Memorial Day in The Sunshine State

unsplash-image-18AWZ3F5Acw.jpg

Memorial Day weekend is coming up fast, and that means it's time for some fun in the sun! Whether you're new to the area, a longtime resident planning a staycation, or simply visiting the Sunshine State to soak up some rays, Florida is a hot destination (literally!) for people to enjoy their holiday weekend. It's no surprise of course, thanks to our beaches, theme parks, delicious food, gorgeous lakeside sunsets, and, of course, the variety of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. We have a few tips to make sure your Memorial Day weekend is a success, no matter where you're from or how long you'll be here:

  • Bring your sunscreen! This is a no-brainer for time outside in Florida. Even if you're just relaxing in your own backyard by the pool, sunscreen is a must-have for time outdoors. Nothing is more miserable than trying to enjoy your Memorial Day vacation with a sunburn! Be sure to get a product that is waterproof, and remember to reapply every couple of hours for the most effective protection.

  • Go off the beaten path. There are so many places in Florida that are often overlooked thanks to our close vicinity to Disney World, Daytona Beach, Clearwater Beach, and other popular hotspots. If you're wanting to see true, native Florida and plenty of wildlife, nearby Circle B Bar Reserve is the perfect place for an afternoon hike. Don't forget your camera...you're SURE to see a variety of birds, lizards, snakes, armadillos, and more than a few gators. If that's not your thing, cool off in the natural springs at Weeki Wachee Springs State Park. Not only is the spring beautiful and cool to swim in, but there are water slides, "real" mermaids, a fun kiddie pool area, and more. Don't forget local cities like Winter Haven have plenty of well-known restaurants and shops that are great for an afternoon relaxing after spending time on the lake, and you won't have to battle the crowds that congregate in Orlando or Tampa.

  • Get the best experience by choosing local. Anyone can go to a chain steakhouse or a fast-food joint, but if you truly want to experience Florida, you need to look closely for the beauty right here in our own backyard. Instead of a hotel, choose a rental home, apartment, or condo for your time in Florida. This will let you relax with a lake view, or experience some of the smaller towns outside of the main attractions. Local restaurants often serve seafood and produce from providers right here in our immediate area, giving you the true flavor of the state. Our local shops often sell handmade items, or items sourced from nearby crafters or artists, which lets you take a piece of Florida home with you at the end of your holiday.

We hope you enjoy your Memorial Day weekend and that you spend the time reflecting on the reason for the holiday, and enjoying time with the ones you care about most. If your time in Florida brings you near the Winter Haven area, welcome! We hope you enjoy your time here. If you're new to the area and plan to stay, we'd love to be a resource for you as you adjust to life in Polk County. We're here to answer your questions, even if it’s just to find out our opinion of the best local eateries and dives! If you're relocating your business to Winter Haven, or starting up a brand new one, we’re here to help you make it a success from day one. Call us about building your brand here in our community. Welcome to the Sunshine State!

Lucky to Live Here! How #28daysoflocal Impacted Newton Peach Marketing

#28daysoflocal.jpg

With St. Patrick's Day coming up fast, everyone has luck on the brain. We can’t help but feel pretty lucky already though, after February's #28daysoflocal campaign. What started out simply as a goal to bring exposure to other local businesses after a hard year, ended up opening our own eyes to our community, and all of the hidden gems that surround us each day. We visited 28 different Winter Haven businesses and organizations, and were thankful to meet their owners, managers, and staff during our time taking photos and learning about what they offer. What are the three main things we took away from this experience?

It's vital that we learn to put down the keyboard, and PICK UP THE KEYS!

With online shopping growing exponentially during the COVID crisis, small businesses and local stores took a huge hit. Unfortunately, some of them didn't survive. It's our job to make sure that the ones who made it are able to keep their doors open, and not just survive, but thrIve. When it's time to shop for a birthday present, baby shower, or teacher gift, don't pick up your phone or jump on the computer. Take a little extra time to head downtown to a local shop where unique gifts, friendly staff, and your very own neighbors are waiting. Remember, Amazon won't be there to support your child's t-ball team or sponsor a local school event, but the shops and businesses of our own community care about you and the area we live in.

Local business owners are resilient.

This year could have turned into chaos for many local businesses, but the owners we met during our February visits took the opportunity to pivot and make the best of a new way of doing things. Restaurants who depended on in-person dining started offering takeout or delivery options. Shops and stores learned how to manage online shopping and delivery so they could still reach customers from home. Organizations brainstormed ways to continue to give back to the community and support those who depend on them in new (safe) ways. We were surprised by, and admire, all the ways our local businesses have adapted and overcome in the last year.

Winter Haven is full of hidden treasures!

From delicious lunches and crafted coffee, to fun stores full of unique and creative gifts, we discovered SO many businesses that we missed in the hustle and bustle of daily life. Taking time to really slow down and look at our city, and then make an effort to shop, eat, and live locally, opened our eyes to just how lucky we are to live here. This is a special area, and not only do the business owners care about the city, but they care about their customers and clients. We are thankful to have discovered these gems and look forward to visiting all of them many times over in the future.

Newton Peach Marketing is proud to serve Winter Haven businesses with social media and digital marketing services across all platforms. Our goal is to help owners reach their goals, and we work closely with them to reach their target audience, gain exposure in and around their local area, and grow both their reach and their profit. With packages of all size, and custom options available, there's a plan for every business that needs help. What can we do for you?
